  Saturday Morning Kiwanis Meeting
  Join us every Saturday morning for fellowship, fun, and updates on club activities. Our meetings include announcements on upcoming events and projects, lighthearted fines for member “misadventures,” and the chance to share Happy and Sad Dollars to celebrate good news or support each other through challenges.

  Come out and join the Alpine Fire Protection District for their Open House! This family-friendly community event is a great opportunity to meet our local firefighters, learn more about fire safety and emergency services, and get an up-close look at the equipment used to help keep Alpine safe.

  The Kiwanis Club of Alpine will be there with our Cook Shack, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

  Bring the family and enjoy a fun day connecting with our firefighters, neighbors, and the organizations that help make Alpine such a wonderful community.

  Join us for our Saturday Morning Speaker Series as we welcome a member of the San Diego Humane Society's Project Wildlife team!

  Learn more about San Diego County's local wildlife, the important work Project Wildlife does to rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned wild animals, and what we can do when we encounter wildlife in our own neighborhoods.

  Living in Alpine means wildlife is often right in our own backyards, making this a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and discover how we can safely coexist with our wild neighbors.

  Operation Chip Drop – Community Clean Up

  The Alpine/Viejas Fire Safe Council invites the community to participate in Operation Chip Drop Community Clean Up!

  Saturday, October 17, 2026
  ⏰ 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. or until dumpsters are full
  NEW LOCATION: 25 Browns Road – Ma Tar Awa
  First come, first served.

  Community members may bring a variety of items for disposal, including e-waste, large furniture, mattresses, water heaters, appliances, oversized items, palm fronds and trunks, stumps, tires without rims, batteries, trash, metal, recycling, and lightbulbs.

  Please note: Oil, paint, chemicals, cars, and motorcycles will not be accepted.

  A chipper will also be onsite to chip green waste, operated by the Alpine/Viejas Fire Safe Council.

  This community clean-up event is sponsored by the Alpine/Viejas Fire Safe Council, with funding provided through the Sunrise Powerlink Fire Mitigation Grants Program.
