Alpine Kiwanis Soap Box Derby

Get ready for an exciting day of gravity racing and fun at our bi-annual Alpine Soap Box Derby races!

Soap Box Derby is open to all youth ages 7-19, teaching youth how to prepare their cars through a S.T.E.M. based racing program.  While the Alpine track is shorter, it is a fantastic opportunity for racers to showcase their skills and creativity for finding speed.

The Stock and Super Stock winners in our Spring race will garner trophies and earn an automatic qualifier into the prestigious, Soap Box Derby Championship Race held each July in Akron, Ohio. If you've never raced, we can provide on a first come basis the cars needed - all you have to do is bring your enthusiastic racer(s). Each Fall we offer a full day of gravity racing where the racers can earn points and trophies for their efforts.
