Operation Chip Drop – Community Clean Up
The Alpine/Viejas Fire Safe Council invites the community to participate in Operation Chip Drop Community Clean Up!
Saturday, October 17, 2026
⏰ 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. or until dumpsters are full
NEW LOCATION: 25 Browns Road – Ma Tar Awa
First come, first served.
Community members may bring a variety of items for disposal, including e-waste, large furniture, mattresses, water heaters, appliances, oversized items, palm fronds and trunks, stumps, tires without rims, batteries, trash, metal, recycling, and lightbulbs.
Please note: Oil, paint, chemicals, cars, and motorcycles will not be accepted.
A chipper will also be onsite to chip green waste, operated by the Alpine/Viejas Fire Safe Council.
This community clean-up event is sponsored by the Alpine/Viejas Fire Safe Council, with funding provided through the Sunrise Powerlink Fire Mitigation Grants Program.
